1. About these terms
These terms apply to your use of the Ozlin Info corporate website at ozlin.info. Ozlin Info is the registered business name of Lin Xie, an Australian individual/sole trader operating remotely from New South Wales (ABN 89 277 213 296).
These website terms do not by themselves create a client, adviser, fiduciary or service-provider relationship. A paid engagement begins only when Ozlin Info and the client accept a written proposal, Statement of Work or other service agreement in the manner described in that document.
Ozlin Info’s public contracting identity and ABN will be updated if the legal entity or business structure changes.
2. Permitted use
You may use this website for lawful personal or business-information purposes. You must not knowingly interfere with the website, its hosting, security or users; access accounts, systems or data without authorisation; introduce malicious code; automate abusive traffic; bypass access controls; scrape or reproduce substantial website content in breach of applicable law or a stated licence; submit unlawful, deceptive, infringing, confidential or malicious material; send spam; or impersonate another person or organisation.
Ozlin Info may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the website, users or systems, investigate misuse, comply with law, or perform maintenance.
3. General information, not tailored advice
Website articles, project notes, code examples and service descriptions are general information. They are not legal, financial, tax, medical, compliance or incident-response advice and do not replace an assessment of your circumstances.
Technical information can become outdated as software, threats, vendors and laws change. Check publication dates, verify important instructions against current primary sources, and use appropriate backups or test environments before relying on technical examples.
4. Services and project terms
Service availability, scope, deliverables, timing, fees, dependencies, acceptance criteria, third-party costs, intellectual-property treatment, maintenance and support are defined in the written documents accepted for the relevant engagement.
Nothing on this website is a binding quote, guarantee of availability, performance percentage, compliance certification, security guarantee or promise that a particular technology is suitable for you.
Any security testing, vulnerability scanning or access to a client’s systems requires separate, specific written authorisation identifying the permitted targets, time, methods, exclusions and emergency contacts. These website terms are not authorisation to test any system.
5. Intellectual property and licences
Unless a page or asset says otherwise, website branding and original content are owned by or licensed to Ozlin Info. You may view and link to public pages and make reasonable copies for personal reference. No other right is granted merely by visiting the site.
Code examples, open-source projects, stock media and third-party materials may have their own licences and attribution terms. Those stated terms apply. The inclusion of an open-source component does not make unrelated Ozlin Info branding or content open source.
Ownership and licensing of client deliverables are determined only by the accepted project agreement. Do not infer an ownership transfer from these website terms.
6. User submissions and public comments
You remain responsible for material you submit. Do not send passwords, access tokens, private keys, payment-card information, unnecessary sensitive information, confidential incident data or material you are not authorised to share through public forms or comments.
If public comments are enabled, Ozlin Info may moderate or remove spam, abuse, unlawful content, confidential material or content unrelated to the discussion. A submission does not guarantee publication or response.
7. Advertising, external services and links
The website may link to or rely on third-party services such as WordPress, GitHub, Google, Cloudflare and embedded-media providers. Their availability, content, licences and privacy practices are controlled by their operators. A link does not necessarily mean that Ozlin Info endorses every statement, product or practice on that service.
Eligible blog articles may display third-party advertising supplied through Google AdSense. The appearance of an advertisement does not mean that Ozlin Info endorses the advertiser, product, service or claim. Advertiser sites, purchases and interactions are governed by the advertiser’s own terms and privacy practices. The Privacy Policy explains the site’s non-personalised advertising configuration and related data processing.
8. Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how personal information, cookies, analytics, contact enquiries, comments, advertising and service-provider processing are handled. Ozlin Gaming and other community systems may have additional notices and community rules.
9. Availability and security
Ozlin Info takes reasonable steps appropriate to this website, but no online service can be guaranteed to be continuously available, error-free or secure. The site may be changed, suspended or withdrawn for maintenance, security, legal or operational reasons.
10. Australian Consumer Law
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies a consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, including under the Australian Consumer Law.
Any liability allocation for paid services belongs in the accepted client agreement and must be fair, transparent and appropriate to that engagement. These website terms do not set the liability cap for a client project.
11. Changes to these terms
Ozlin Info may update these website terms prospectively by publishing a revised date. Changes apply to future website use after publication. They do not retrospectively change an existing accepted Statement of Work, Master Services Agreement or other client agreement unless both parties agree in writing or that agreement expressly provides a lawful update mechanism.
12. Governing law
These website terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Nothing in this clause prevents a person from using a right or forum that applicable law makes available to them.
13. Contact
Questions about these website terms can be sent through the Contact page or to [email protected].
